“She’s over there!” Suddenly, one of the men turned around. She smiled bitterly and watched as he let out a yell for the others look on.
And a gunshot rang out. She closed her eyes in despair expecting pain to come. But it didn’t. She froze when her body was held tightly from behind.
“Be good and don’t make a sound.”
This deep voice, this familiar scent, the warm palm around her waist… She suddenly opened her eyes, only to see that the entire crypt was dark. She immediately realized that the gunshot just now was from the man behind her while knocking all the artificial lights out.
She did not know where he was going to take her, she only knew that he was holding her tightly as he sneak around quietly. All she knew was that at the last moment when the tomb door fell, he quietly came in!
Her Qin Ge.
Tears have gathered in her eyes, and when it fell, it was silent, but flowed endlessly.
If her whole life is indeed only up to this point, she knows she has no regrets.
He pulled her down in a crouch, and let her body against a hard wooden board. He cupped her face with both hands, then he held his gun with his left hand that the bones of the gun attached to his rough fingers dangerously and coldly grazed her right cheek.
“Qin Ge—” She murmured, confused as he fiercely pulled her to stand up. After heavy muffled sound, is the sound of grave robbers stormed up and as their shouts rang, “They are over there!”
Then everything happened so fast: She saw several lights flash; and that she and Qin Ge were actually behind the coffin of Dongling Emperor.
The coffin lid was half open… It turned out that this was what Qin Ge was actually pushing. She felt Qin Ge pick her up and put her inside the coffin.
Amidst the brilliant gunfire which made people’s heart race, she saw Qin Ge turned sideways in front of her. Her shoulders hurt in pain, Qin Ge white shirt was stained red on his chest.
Then, a loud “pop” exploded in her ears and her eyes went black.
Before the coffin lid closed, the lights swayed as if red candles lightly burst, the antique room seemed to go back in time for a thousand years. She even saw Qin Ge’s eyebrows slightly furrowed, his eyes quiet but ruthless, just like the first time he had hugged her that night when she was thinking about telling him a little lie, but he stared at her fiercely…

I actually already read this from another translator, but reading it again here flows better. Anyway!!! Suspicious!! A tomb that’s arranged like a living corridor?? SUSPICIOUS!!!! Also… Where is the body I’m the casket?? Did he place her with a mummy??
